The star attraction of the Salon du Chocolat: a chocolate fashion show reimagined as a musical!

A revisited show for the 30th Anniversary of the Salon du Chocolat de Paris

To mark its 30th Anniversary, the Salon du Chocolat Paris transformed its iconic Chocolate Fashion Show with a bold new twist: The Musical!

Far more than a delicious runway show, this was a fully immersive and artistic experience, live on stage each day.

A multidimensional spectacle blended fashion, chocolate, singing, dancing, and modern technologies for a show unlike any other.

A UNIQUE SHOW FOR THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY

The gourmet and musical show

To celebrate its anniversary, the Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie reinvented its traditional chocolate dress parade. This eagerly awaited event was transformed into a gourmet, fast-paced show combining dance, song, theatre, and chocolate costumes in an immersive and participatory setting.

Every day, the audience discovered an artistic experience where cocoa became a universal language, capable of appealing to all generations. The show has promised to enrich the Salon experience by combining sensory pleasure, creativity, and collective emotion.

An original creation designed with AICOM

In partnership with AICOM, France's leading multidisciplinary school dedicated to the performing arts, the Salon du Chocolat devised a unique project: a chocolate-themed musical.

Johan Nus — renowned choreographer and director of the Paris Créteil campus — took part in all stages of creation: writing, staging, set design, and artistic direction, accompanied by students from the academy who participated in the show. An educational and collective adventure that embodied the next generation of a curious, committed, and gourmet artistic scene.

When Broadway meets cocoa: innovative set design

The show unfolded in five legendary artistic scenes, such as The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia, Starmania, Mary Poppins, and Mozart l'Opéra Rock.

Each scene revealed two unique chocolate creations, designed by pairs of stylists and chocolatiers and conceived as true living works of art. Dynamic choreography and captivating songs brought to life an immersive production that plunged the audience into a rhythmic and lively world.

This unique format was a highlight of the Show, particularly during the Opening Night, but also every day of the event, on the Cacao Show stage in Hall 5.1.

Chocolate costumes, between fashion and indulgence

At the heart of the show, chocolate costumes were the real stars. Meticulously crafted by exceptional chocolatiers and passionate designers, these unique pieces pushed the boundaries of the imagination. Each dress or costume was a technical feat: the textures, shapes, and shades of black gold were worked like fine haute couture materials.

These gourmet creations reflected the expertise of the artisans and illustrated the innovative spirit of the Salon, where chocolate was elevated to the rank of visual and gustatory art.

An exceptional Opening Night

Kick off this extraordinary anniversary edition with a magical preview during the Opening Night on Tuesday 28 October 2025.

True to its values, the Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie continued its commitment to Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.

For more than 10 years, a portion of the profits from ticket sales for the Opening Night had been donated to this charity.

This initiative had already made it possible to fund vital operations for children with heart defects who could not be treated in their country of origin.

By combining the festive and gourmet world of chocolate with a humanitarian cause, the Salon reminded us that generosity was at the heart of its DNA.

Models gathered on the Cacao Show stage after the show.

What to expect at the opening night:

  • An exclusive first look at the Salon’s immersive world
  • Meet-and-greets with the finest talents in chocolate and pastry
  • And the highlight: the legendary Chocolate Fashion Show was reimagined as a musical performance — artistic, gourmet, and unforgettable — featuring surprise celebrity guests!

Norico’s live chocolate art expressed melting happiness inspired by Tamachan Shop’s “Torokeru Cacao Shitate.

Her performance embodied warmth, tenderness, and a sense of gentle joy — like the soft sweetness of chocolate that connected people’s hearts. The artwork reached completion when guests were invited to taste it, creating a unique, participatory chocolate art experience that melted both chocolate and emotion together.
