For the very first time, and driven by the high standards of the Salon du Chocolat, the Les Éclats du Chocolat Awards will shine a spotlight on the creations of 2025 exhibitors that best embody flavor, ethics, and uniqueness in the world of fine chocolate.

Organized in partnership with Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet, the competition is exclusively open to exhibitors of the Salon du Chocolat. It will award four major distinctions, selected by a jury of experts committed to celebrating taste, quality, and ethical practices.

 Les Éclats du Chocolat Awards 2025 will present four exclusive prizes, each highlighting a different expression of excellence in fine chocolate:

  • Best Bean-to-Bar Chocolate Bar : recognizes full mastery of the chocolate-making process — from cacao bean to finished bar — showcasing quality, precision, and craftsmanship.
  • Innovation Award : celebrates a bold, original or unexpected creation, whether in the form of chocolate bars or filled confections, pushing the boundaries of flavor and design.
  • Jury's Favorite : a special distinction awarded based on emotional impact, whether visual or gustatory — a true coup de cœur.
  • Ethics & Sustainability : award Honors a brand or product with a responsible approach — be it social, environmental, or through transparent sourcing and traceability of ingredients.

The award winners will be selected by a panel of four distinguished professionals, each recognized for their commitment to excellence in the chocolate and pastry sectors:
