Patisserie puts on a show at the Salon du Chocolat!

In 2019, the Salon du Chocolat has inaugurated a new 100% patisserie area under the patronage of Philippe Conticini.

Imagine 2,500 sqm of events, demonstrations and exhibitions totally dedicated to the art of patisserie!

The programme included:

  • the greatest chefs on stage for virtuoso demonstrations, including: Philippe Conticini, Dominique Costa (The Peninsula Paris), Christophe Felder, Pascal Hainigue (Le Burgundy Paris), François Josse (Le Taillevent), Nina Métayer, Thierry Marx & Raphaël Haumont (Le Mandarin Oriental), Jimmy Mornet (Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme), Nicolas Paciello (Hôtel Prince de Galles), Patrick Pailler (Café Pouchkine), Aurélien Rivoire (Le Pavillon Ledoyen), … Find the list of all the chefs and the programming of the Pastry Show in 2019
  • an exhibition of the finest Yule logs and other monumental works
  • a glass kitchen in which patissiers maked their creations in front of you, with a French region highlighted every day
  • a tasting room where you were able to quietly enjoy your favourite pastries
  • a major competition open to professionals and amateurs: the International French Patisserie Trophy organised by the National Confederation of French Artisan Patissiers, Chocolatiers, Confectioners and Ice Cream Makers
  • plus a series of book-signing sessions by your favourite authors, chefs and chocolatiers at the “Librairie Gourmande”
