 International Awards of French Pastry

The international Awards of French Pastry is a competition organized by the Confédération Nationale des Artisans Pâtissiers. This year, the competition only concerns amateur candidates. It will take place over the course of 3 days, during which these amateur pastry chefs will have to defend their creations before the public and a jury of experts.

This prestigious jury will include holders of the “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” title as well as World Pastry Champions, and will be presided by Laurent Le Daniel (MOF and president of the National Confederation of Artisanal Pastry Chefs, Chocolatiers, Confectioners, and Caterers).

This year, the theme of the International Awards of French Pastry will be “Chocolate Tarts and Truffles“. Candidates will first have to create two identical chocolate tarts, which will be judged on taste and on aesthetics. For the second stage of the competition, they will then create between 20 and 25 truffles, evaluated for their taste, the intensity of their chocolate, and their originality. During the competition, all participants will be coached by the same renowned pastry chef.

The “Mondial des Arts Sucrés”

The 7th edition of the “Mondial des Arts Sucrés” will stage a confrontation between teams of pastry chefs. These 32 candidates will dedicate themselves to the creation of 3 artistic pieces realized during 20 hours of work.

You are invited to observe their craft as well as the jury taste-testing over the course of 4 days.

The “Défi des Glaciers”

The organisation « Pâtissiers dans le Monde » is setting up a competition set to last 5 days. The participating pastry chefs will perform the most impressive feats of the creation of ice creams and sorbets – an event you will not want to miss!
